This is a step-by-step guide to installing the Dream Automotive Side Markers to show you everything you need to be up and running. Begin by gathering all the necessary tools before starting the installation process.
Tools required for installation:
Screw Driver | Pliers | Wire Cutters
Multimeter | Electrical Tape | Stanley Blade
10mm Socket | Ratchet
This kit can be installed with and without the indicator function. To not include this function, do not connect the yellow wire.

Step 1
Carefully use a screw driver to undo the three fender liner screws to gain access to behind the side markers.

Step 2
Pull fender liner back with one hand and pop off the edge of side marker with the other. Be careful when pull the side marker not to break the retaining clip.

Step 3
Whilst pulling the side marker back squeeze the white tab to release side marker. This will allow you to unplug the electrical plug at the back of the side markers.

Step 4
Carefully remove the plastic plug from the rear of the side marker and remove amber bulb.

Step 5
Connect new side marker wiring to OEM plug using the bulb slot.

Step 6
Connect to plug left behind in the fender and test the lights are working. Wrap black and red wires into a spiral to allow space to reinstall connector (this may take some force to seat the plug flush). If you just want the side marker lights without the indicator function reinstall the side marker and tuck the yellow wire into the gap the plug came out of. If you do want the indicator function continue to step 7.

Step 7
Feed the wire through the gap where the plug came out of. Put your other hand behind the fender liner and guide the wire past the back of the headlight. You should see the wire appear in the engine bay at the back of the headlight.

Step 8
Carefully push new side marker in, lining up the front edge first and the pushing the back in. When installed correctly the unit will sit flush again the body panels.

Step 9
Unplug the pictured connector from the back of the headlight. The plug is positioned low on the headlight housing and may take force to remove.

Step 10
After removing the plug we to find the correct wire for the indicator. On the UK right hand drive car pictured the drives side indicator wire is blue and the passenger side is green. This may vary on what region your car is so please use a multimeter to test.

Step 11
Disconnect negative terminal from battery using a 10mm socket. Cut back wire heat wrap on headlight plug to gain access to wires.

Step 12
Cut yellow wire to size and open scotch lock. Place the indicator wire one side and the yellow wire on the other.

Step 13
Use the supplied Scotch lock to splice the yellow wire into the headlight wiring harness. Make sure to use a pair of pliers to secure the metal lock in place.

Step 14
Using electrical tape, wrap the wiring back up including scotch lock. Reconnect headlight connector to the back of headlight. Use the supplied zip ties to neatly tie the yellow cable to the headlight wiring harness. Reconnect the negative terminal to the battery.

Step 15
Carefully use a screwdriver to reattach the 3 fender liner screws.

Step 16
Test functionality and enjoy your new side markers!
