In this week video we go full send on Nick Goode's Time Attack UK car. Taking our learnings from the 2019 season where we competed in our own car and won the championship trophy. We channeled our gained knowledge into this build.

Hard-Lagged Turbo Heat Shield
Designed to keep under hood temps down, the Dream Automotive Hard-Lagged Turbo Heat Shield offers superior protection against engine bay heat-soak from the turbo and downpipe on the K20C1 engine found in the FK2, FK8 and FL5 Type R's.
Our Hard-Lagged Tubro Heat Shield is the same shape and fitment as the OEM shield but with the upgraded material. Made from aero-space industry materials, hard-lagged products are designed to withstand temperatures of up to 1200°C. To create such products, an inner insulating material is firmly pressed into shape. A metallic skin is then micro spot-welded into place entirely covering the insulation therefore creating a completed shell. The metallic skin also acts as part of the thermal barrier by providing additional heat resistance.

Tear Drop Weighted Stainless Steel Gear Knob Now Available in Gunmetal
Created from a solid billet piece of stainless steel, keeping the original shape in the FK8 facelift and FL5 gear knob size of the standard gear knob yet increasing the weight to improve gear throw and feel when shifting between gears.
After testing several weights of gear knob we came up with a gear knob that weighs 305g more than stock and found that this gives the best increase in feel.
