The PTP Hybrid blankets are constructed with an outer layer shell made from a high temperature 309 stainless steel foil (Rated 1800°F Direct Heat / 2500°F Radiant Heat). These Hybrid blankets are internally insulated with high temperature calcium magnesium silicate wool (Rated 1832°F Continuous / 2300°F Peak) overlaid by a double reinforced fine and open mesh liner for enhanced concealment, strength, and durability. The Hybrid blankets are designed to withstand some of the harshest conditions while retaining a longer lifespan over the fabric constructed blankets. 

The PTP Honda Downpipe Blanket is designed to limit the amount of heat that is transferred from your downpipe to your engine bay as well as keeping hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. By limiting the amount of transferred heat, you extend the life of your under hood components, decrease intake temps, and improve the response from your car.
