The all new Honda Civic Type R (FL5) performance exhaust is perfect for owners that want to extract optimal performance from their Type R. This performance exhaust is made in 3"/76.2mm pipework and replaces all parts from the catalytic converter (downpipe) section backwards (cat-back). This is a 'Valved' exhaust system which retains the use of the OEM exhaust valve module. This means that even with an aftermarket exhaust, switching between drive modes (e.g. Eco to R mode), your exhaust tone will still switch from quieter to louder tones as before.

The exhaust system is supplied with a newly designed heat shield which provides optimal heat protection and aerodynamic efficiency and replaces the factory item which is not compatible with the larger diameter exhaust pipework and valve.

Designed specifically for the FL5, this exhaust system uses an all-new 3-inch dual rear silencer design. Although it is similar in appearance to the Cobra Sport FK8 systems, it now features an optimal layout which takes into consideration the positioning of the newly introduced factory valve.

Along with the larger 3-inch exhaust valve, the silencer internals have been developed to guarantee optimal flow rates and exhaust tone regardless of the drive mode selected. Through digital flow mapping, our technicians have created a system that utilises the valve for its intended use, without compromising flow when closed, offering an adaptable system that suits any drive.

This system addresses the styling of the Civic Type R with a choice of three equally sized 4” (101.6mm) tailpipes, available in stainless-steel, ceramic black and for those suffering with carbon fever, the cure comes in the form of Cobra Sport's TP115-CF carbon fibre tailpipe option.

This exhaust has a choice of 4" (101.6mm) tailpipe options including a choice of carbon fibre tip options.

All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.
