Eventuri Intake - FL5 Type R
Last week we saw the Eventuri FL5 Type R Intake make its world premiere at SEMA 2023 however this week we were given the green light to share some pictures of the intake on our own car, followed by a YouTube video of us testing the intake and getting stuck into the numbers.
Bilal from Eventuri, the designer of the intake, joins us on camera to talk us through the R&D process, the power gains and what to expect next from Eventuri!

Hybrid Racing Short Shifter - FL5 Type R
One of the most popular upgrades to make to the FK8 Type R was the Hybrid Racing Short Shifter - this shifter took the already sharp shift of the Civic Type R to the next level, as well as providing a vast amount of adjustability allowing owners to tailor the feel of their shift to their exact liking.
It was amazing news to hear that our friends at Hybrid Racing had developed a short shifter option for the FL5 Type R, however unfortunately the FL5's shifter assembly is sided, meaning that for now this new shifter is LHD only.
After an email conversation with Hybrid Racing regarding this, we have been sent a shifter assembly, some LHD trim pieces and will begin testing on the shifter very soon! Keep your eyes on our social media for updates on this.
