This FK8 Type R was treated to some brilliant upgrades from 2 of Japan's most iconic performance brands this week - Spoon Sports and Rays Wheels.

We fitted a set of Spoon Sports Progressive Lowering Springs, dropping the car ~20mm. These springs are designed to feel as comfortable as standard springs during casual driving but stiffen up and provide heightened performance during spirited driving, perfect for those who use their car daily but also like to push through the bends or even occasionally on the track!

Another great upgrade, also from Spoon Sports, are the rigid collars - these are essentially a washer that hug the sub-frame bolts and eliminate any void between the subframe and vehicle chassis. This transforms the handling characteristics of the vehicle making it feel much more solid and sharp.

To finish off we wrapped up a set of bronze Rays GramLights 57DR's in Michelin Pilot Sport 5's and bolted them on, improving again both the performance and the visuals of the car. The more aggressive fitment paired with the subtle height reduction from the Spoon Springs is an incredible look!

Out With The Old, In With The New!

Although it is annoying when a component breaks on you, we are all guilty of using it as an opportunity to make an upgrade!

The owner of this FK2 did exactly that this week - not only did we replace his front shock absorbers, we also fitted a set of the popular Dream x Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs.

Our springs were developed in collaboration with Eibach to offer a reduction in ride height whilst keeping the same spring rate as OEM. This design allows the owners to have a lowered vehicle but still maintain the ability to stiffen the springs using the active damping controlled via the drive modes. It also means that during day to day driving, you benefit from a lower centre of gravity and improved stance all while being as comfortable as standard!

CRAZY JDM TRANSFORMATION! 👀

We closed the week off with a huge transformation on this FL5 Type R, comprising of all the greatest JDM parts! The mods list included:

GruppeM Carbon Intake, HKS Legamax Exhaust System, Rays VolkRacing TE37's, Spoon Sports Lowering Springs and Spoon Sports Rigid Collars!

The owner of this FL5 wants to keep all of his upgrades as authentic as possible, opting for only JDM parts. This resulted in a great outcome, an FL5 that sounds, handles and looks perfect!

Blitz AeroSpeed R Body-Kit

Initially unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year, we're finally pleased to offer the stunning Blitz AeroSpeed R body kit for the FL5 Type R!

The full kit comprises of a front lip spoiler, front arch diffusers, rear side diffusers, rear centre diffuser, rear spoiler gurney flap and a front duct extension. All parts are available for purchase separately!

Mugen MF10 Forged Wheel

Mugen's most legendary wheel, the MF10 has been copied and reproduced many times since being discontinued many years ago, but has never been put back into production by Mugen, until now!

Hybric Racing Alcantara Shift Boot (Red)

The factory 10th generation Honda Civic arguably has one of the best interiors ever offered in a Civic, but that doesn't mean it can't get better. The Hybrid Racing shift boot is made from genuine Alcantara material, hand-cut, and constructed in the United Kingdom. This shift boot adds a nice high-end touch to an otherwise great interior.

This boot is a direct replacement for the OEM part. You will need to remove your trim panels and remove the OE boot. No modification is necessary
