Tribol's track-focused testing programme simulates repeated heavy braking at disc temperatures exceeding 600°C, revealing how these brake pads perform when it matters most. The CF-3 range delivers strong cold bite, stable friction characteristics, eliminates brake pad lift and brake fade. • Carbon fibre composite backing plates.At the core of the CF-3 S01 is Tribol's patent-protected carbon fibre composite backplate technology. Built around advanced high-temperature resin systems derived from ablative heat-shield materials originally developed for space vehicle re-entry, it acts as an effective thermal barrier between the brake disc and caliper, helping to reduce heat transfer into the hydraulic system during repeated heavy braking.
