This becomes especially noticeable with wider or stickier tire setups, where debris passing through the vents can contact the doors and surrounding bodywork, leading to unwanted paint chips and scratches.

PRL Motorsports Front Fender Vent Guards provide an added layer of protection without compromising the function or factory appearance of the FL5's fender vents. Each guard is constructed from 1 mm thick 304 stainless steel and finished in a wrinkle black powder coat. By using stainless steel beneath the coating, the guards remain corrosion resistant even if repeated impacts eventually chip or wear the powder-coated finish.

The mesh pattern was designed to complement the lower grille of the OEM front bumper, giving the guards an OEM+ appearance that blends naturally into the factory fender wells and vents. The open mesh construction maintains functional airflow through the vents while helping block larger rocks and debris before they can reach the side of the vehicle.

Installation requires no permanent modifications, and the kit includes new push clips to replace the factory clips removed during installation.

TECH SPECS

Helps protect doors and bodywork from rocks and road debris

1 mm thick 304 stainless steel construction

Wrinkle black powder-coated finish

Corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction

Mesh pattern inspired by the OEM lower front grille

Maintains functional airflow through the factory fender vents

OEM+ fit and appearance

No permanent modifications required

New 8 mm push clips included for installation

COMPATIBLE VEHICLES

Honda Civic Type R | FL5 2.0T K20C1 | 2022+

FITTING DETAILS

Dream Automotive offers in-house fitting on all products at our workshop in Luton, Bedfordshire.

https://www.dream-automotive.com/products/prl-motorsport-fl5-fender-vent-guard-honda-civic-type-r-fl5-2-0t-k20c1-2023
